The underlying change: AI across apps, not a separate module
The most discussed feature of Odoo 19 is that AI capabilities appear inside existing applications — lead assignment, document reading, reconciliation assistance — rather than in a separate product. The question for a company becomes which functions to enable, and with what human validation.
Accounting and finance
Reported improvements include bank reconciliation assisted by document reading, new year-end reports, a tax return feature with validation checks, and support for international payment standards.
